The Bodach is the husband of the Cailleach in Scottish Gaelic tradition, represented by water-worn stones in a shrine at Glen Lyon. According to local legend, he and his family brought fertility and prosperity to the glen when given shelter by locals. He is part of a family unit whose stone representations are ritually moved between shelter and open glen at Bealltainn and Samhain.
