anima
single tradition · 1
In Jungian psychology, the anima is the unconscious feminine side of a man. It is considered an animistic part within the Self, and Jung viewed parts of the self as part of the infinite set of archetypes within the collective unconscious. For men, accepting eros, or desire for connection, involves accepting the anima.
