In Greek mythology, the Amnisiades are nymphs of the Amnisos river in Crete. They are mentioned in Callimachus's Hymn to Artemis, where Artemis asks her father Zeus for twenty of them to be part of her retinue. They are also described as tending for Artemis's deer.
