Abhiriti, also known as Hariti, was a yakshini born in the Buddhasasana of Buddha Vesabhu. She is considered to be a daughter of Mother Dhamma. From Mother Dhamma's compassion, Hariti was born and fed a hungry demon infant from her lactating breasts.
